How do you search some specific information on the internet? Just typing some words in Google or Bing? No, no, no, you need more specific skills.

Here’s some useful tips for you.

1. Using the right method

You must know what exactly results shown in the first pages before you type anything in the search engine. Then think about what word can describe the information most specifically. After think about this, you can start typing something in the search engine.

2. Using right conjunction

If you want to search some classified information in San Francisco, you need to type “San Francisco classifieds” (which is really means San AND Francisco AND classifieds"), if you type the words “San Francisco OR classifieds” the results would be much different.
3.Ignore some words.

Google with directly ignore some words like “what” “in” “how” “on”, so, when you are about search something you must remember this. For example, when I search some free classified Ads in New York, I would type the word “Free classified Ads New York” instead of “Free classified Ads in New York”.

4.Other tips

Search for short sentences, you ban put the in quotation marks like “nothing comes of nothing”.

Search for one document type you can type the words like this “guidebook filetype:pdf”.

If you are wondering how many sites point to you own site, you can just type the word in the search engine like this “link:google.com”.

To translate a words into other language, you can just type “ translate hello to Japanese”.

If you want to know how much one dollar equals in Chinese Yuan, just type” 1 USD to CNY”, then you can get het answer.

There’s lots of useful tips when you’re using search engines, if you can use them in your daily search, it will helps a lot.

Have you noticed any slight changes in your man’s behavior? Does he say things he has never said before? Well, maybe it’s because he loves you!

Men are very action motivated, they don’t express their feelings verbally. They’d rather make you figure it out on your own. There’s nothing wrong with that, as long as he tells you how he feels at the right time.

Do you ever get butterflies in your stomach when you think about his new motives? You probably feel the same way about him. I know you’ve heard others say that it takes time for men to love their women. That’s true to an extent. Love doesn’t hold any boundaries, it comes when you least expect it to. This strong emotion normally comes about 1 year of dating. If you’ve been with him for only 5 months, then he’s infatuated with you.

The difference between love and infatuation is that love is a more intense feeling. When you’re infatuated with someone, your feelings are a bit different. He may feel like he loves you, but he only cares deeply for you. When a man really loves a woman, he’ll do anything for her. The main hints he’ll throw are very easy to catch.

1. His body language
If you haven’t noticed his body language, pay more attention to it. He’ll begin to walk with poise and wrap his arms around you. I know men do this when they don’t love a woman, but he’ll do it more often if the feelings are there.

2. His grin
He’ll look at you with a big smile and the look in his eyes will change. The eyes do all the communicating for you. His facial expression won’t go away quickly. Gaze into his eyes and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

3. Hyperness
If he’s the calm type, he’ll become more hyperactive around you. I’ve noticed this in my boyfriend. You’ll see this sign if you look closely. Men aren’t hard to read, you have to take the time to read them.

4. The questions he asks you
This is the first sign you should see! If he started asking a lot of questions about you, he loves you. A man won’t ask a woman questions about her if he didn’t love her. His level of interest in you is increasing and he can’t get enough of you. Doesn’t it feel good to be with a man who loves you? The types of questions he asks aren’t important. What’s important is the topic of his questions.

Eating a meal made with "slow-release" carbohydrates, such as oatmeal or bran cereal, before you exercise may help you burn more fat, suggests a recent study in the Journal of Nutrition. Researchers assessed the rate of fat burn among eight healthy women after they ate two breakfasts: muesli with milk, peaches, yogurt and apple juice on one day; cornflakes with skim milk, white bread with margarine and jam and an energy drink on another day. Both meals contained similar amounts of calories. The first breakfast (muesli) was a low-glycemic-index (GI) meal, the second was a high-GI meal. The glycemic index ranks foods based on how much they raise blood sugar. Lower-GI foods produce smaller spikes than higher-GI foods. Generally, foods that contain protein, fat and/or fiber and are digested more slowly fall lower on the GI scale than those that consist mostly of carbohydrate (e.g., white bread). On the days when the women ate the low-GI breakfast, they burned nearly twice as much fat during a 60-minute walk as they did on the days when they ate the high-GI meal. Here’s why: Because the muesli (low-GI) breakfast was more slowly digested, it didn’t spike blood-glucose levels as high as the cornflake (high-GI) breakfast did. In turn, insulin levels didn’t spike as high either which probably explains why the muesli-eating women burned more fat, says Ian MacDonald, Ph.D., director of research at the University of Nottingham Medical School. Insulin plays a role in signaling your body to store fat. So, lower levels of insulin might help you to burn fat. Bottom line: If you’re looking to burn more fat, pick low-GI foods, such as oatmeal, over high-GI foods, such as white toast, before your workout.

Mona Lisa’s Mysterious Smile Now You See It, Now You Don’t.

Any list of the world’s top ten most famous paintings will surely include da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Part of the painting’s appeal is its mystery.

Those lucky enough to have an unobstructed view of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre often stare in awe, baffled by the smile that seems to flicker and fade. Gazing at a reproduction of the work produces the same effect. Now she’s smiling, now she’s not.

What’s the deal with Mona Lisa’s smile?

Harvard neuroscientist Margaret Livingstone is pretty sure she’s solved the puzzle. Presuming nothing, Livingstone reasoned that the famous portrait’s flickering smile is caused by the way we see.

Our eyes use two separate regions to see. One is the fovea, a central area used to see colors and pick out details such as fine print. The area around the fovea is better at detecting motion, shadows, and stark, black and white contrasts.

When we look at a person’s face, according to Livingstone, we usually focus centrally on the eyes. Gazing at Mona Lisa’s eyes, our less accurate peripheral vision notices the mouth, picking up shadows from the cheekbones.

The shadows play visual tricks, hinting at the curve of a smile. But when we look directly at the mouth, our central vision doesn’t see the shadows, and so the smile suddenly disappears. As our eyes scan different parts of the portrait, Mona’s smile seems to fade in and out.

Did da Vinci intend to create this flickering smile effect? Perhaps. In any case, he was genius enough to paint shadows subtle enough to astound viewers for half a millennium. Meanwhile, Mona Lisa will keep smiling. And not.

Currently, I have three digital equipment so far, a ThinkPad SL410k, a Pentax K-r digital SLR camera, a BlackBerry. In my wish list, a e-book reader and a tablet are the most wanted things.

About a week ago I decided to buy a E-book reader. After compared the different of the Kindle keyboard(Kindle 3), Kindle (Kindle 4 without touch) and Nook 2. I found it’s hard to make a decision among those because I think they are all amazing product, each of them has its own outstanding features.

After thousands of times choosing in my mind, I decided to buy a second-hand Kindle keyboard. The price of a second-hand Kindle 3 is barely the same as a new Kindle 4. So, in a local e-book forum, I choose a seller in Kunming which is not far from the city I live. I paid this for 650 CNY for it(about 100USD).

One day later, I got my first e-book reader of my life.

For the Kindle’s sake, I will do as much reading as I can in the following years.
